HOW LAUNCHES WORK
Starbase launches coins on a bonding curve. You pick a name, a ticker and an image, and the coin is live and tradable the moment the launch transaction lands.
1. LAUNCH
Open the terminal at the bottom of the page. Describe your coin to Onboard AI and use its draft, or fill in the LAUNCH tab yourself. Every coin ships with 1B supply and 6 decimals. You can add an optional first buy in the same transaction.
2. THE BONDING CURVE
A new coin trades against a bonding curve instead of an order book. Buying pushes the price up along the curve and selling pushes it back down. There is always a price and always liquidity, so you can buy or sell at any time.
3. 85 SOL TO BOND
Once the curve has collected 85 SOL, the coin has bonded. The progress bar on every coin card shows how far along it is on the way to Mars.
4. MIGRATION
When a coin bonds, its liquidity moves automatically into a DAMM v2 pool. The liquidity in that pool is locked and cannot be pulled out, and trading continues there. There is no migration fee.
5. FEES
Every trade on the curve pays a 1% fee. The protocol takes 20% of that fee. The rest is split evenly between the coin creator and the pad, 40% each of the full fee. Creators collect their share from the CLAIM FEES tab, using the wallet they launched from.
6. SETTINGS
The SETTINGS tab holds your slippage (default 3%, shown as 300 bps), your priority fee preset, and the theme accent. They are saved in your browser.
